The Ritz-Carlton this month opened its first hotel in Indonesia, on a bluff overlooking beaches in Jimbaran in southwest Bali. Introductory rates at the 323-room hotel start at $151.25; on April 1, 1997, they rise to $266.20. Reservations: (800) 241-3333. . . . A new pass, good for admission to about 180 Swiss museums over a one-month period, is available for $25 per adult and $30 for families. Students and senior citizens can obtain reduced rates. For information, contact Switzerland Tourism at (310) 335-5987. . . . Are your phone calls waking up your friends and associates abroad? You might try the “Time in Country” service, free to AT&T; customers. It notifies callers of the local time in the country they’re contacting--and lets them cancel the call if it’s a bad time. To order the service, call (800) 445-3231. . . . Amtrak’s 1997 Travel Planner, which describes related air, rental car and hotel packages for the first time, is now available. As usual, the free planner also details rail routes and services. To order, call (800) 872-7245.
