Orange’s Doubletree Hotel Has New Owner

The 454-room Doubletree Hotel has been purchased by Dallas-based Patriot American Hospitality Inc. Doubletree Hotels Corp. will have a 10% stake after the transaction, and will continue to manage the hotel, general manager Joseph Bann said.

The Doubletree is one of five Doubletree hotels that Patriot American is buying from Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. Earlier this week, Patriot also acquired the 230-room Hilton Suites hotel in Orange.
