Shopping the Web

Browsing for accessories for the home and garden is now just a stroll down the Internet.

Interior designer William Iddings, who has been in the business for 45 years, has set up a Web page, Access Decorative Market, a new retail space featuring functional art for the home and garden.

Iddings, of La Jolla, handpicks furnishings from artists he has worked with over the years. There are currently 70 pieces available on the page. All of them are handcrafted and original and are placed in categories--such as decorative pillows and throws, ceramics and lamps--for easy access.

“I go to all the major trade shows, seeking artisans and then collaborating with them on new things,” Iddings said. “Every six weeks to six months new items are introduced, so our inventory is constantly changing and it’s sold at lower prices than what you find at design studios.”

Contact the page at https://www.accdecmkt.com/admt/ or call Iddings at (619) 454-1646 for more information.
