College Group Plans Free Lecture Series

A campus group at Cal State Fullerton is sponsoring a series of free public lectures about policies that drive American events.
The group, Continuing Learning Experience, is made up of more than 800 retired and semiretired citizens dedicated to the pursuit of lifelong learning. It will present the lectures in the university’s Mackey Auditorium in the Ruby Gerontology Center at 1:15 p.m. on alternate Thursdays.
The lectures include the following topics:
* “Water Policy: The Destruction of Nature or God’s Plan for the West?” Feb. 13.
* “Mr. Lincoln” Feb. 27,
* “The War Between the States” March 13.
* “The War at Home” April 3.
* “Walt Disney’s Architecture of the American West” April 17.
