3 Directors of Water District Named Officers
Three directors of the United Water Conservation District have been named as officers.
Sheldon G. Berger of Oxnard has been named president of the board, Daniel C. Naumann of Oxnard was named vice president and Dick Richardson of Fillmore was appointed secretary-treasurer.
The district, which oversees water use for the Santa Clara Valley and the Oxnard Plain, is governed by seven directors elected by the voters in that area.
Berger, a real estate broker, represents a portion of Oxnard and adjoining areas. Naumann, a citrus and crop farmer, represents the Pleasant Valley area to the south and east of Oxnard. Richardson is a citrus rancher and represents the area from Piru to Fillmore.
Other board members are Hank Laubacher, representing a portion of Oxnard and the north Oxnard Plain; Lynn E. Maulhardt, representing the area northeast of Oxnard; Dan Pinkerton, representing Santa Paula; and Joe Terry Sr., representing Ventura and Saticoy.
