Magnolia 61, Savanna 47--Dennis Loza scored 20 points to help Magnolia move into third place.

In the Century League:

Villa Park 44, Orange 41--Matt Poutsma’s two free throws with one second remaining sealed the victory for the Spartans (20-4, 9-0), ranked fourth in the county.

Eric Chenowith had 18 points, 17 rebounds and four blocked shots for Villa Park, which clinched the league title.

In the Freeway League:

La Habra 71, Sunny Hills 67 (OT)--La Habra (7-15, 2-7) rallied from a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit and sent the game into overtime when Josh Fischer made a jumper at the buzzer. Jason Maughan scored 31 points for Sunny Hills (11-13, 4-5).

Sonora 54, Fullerton 41--Jeffrey Berokoff scored 17 points for host Sonora (22-3, 9-0), ranked third in the county.

In the Golden West League:

Ocean View 70, Westminster 53--Jason Martini scored 22 points for Ocean View (18-6, 7-2).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Beach 66, Estancia 45--Blair Anderson scored 23 points to lead Laguna Beach (10-14, 3-6) in an upset over first-place Estancia (18-7, 7-2).

Laguna Hills 53, Costa Mesa 51--John Bauman made a layup off an assist from Josh Pierson with two seconds remaining to break a 51-51 tie for host Laguna Hills (10-14, 5-4). Brian Leahy’s 25-footer at the buzzer missed for Costa Mesa (4-19, 0-9).

In the South Coast League:

Mission Viejo 75, Capistrano Valley 60--Commander King broke the school record for career assists with six in the upset over seventh-ranked Capistrano Valley (16-8, 6-3). King has 422 career assists, breaking the previous record of 419 by Tom Desiano in 1979.

In the Sunset league:

Los Alamitos 65, Edison 62--Monroe Moore scored 19 points for Los Alamitos (22-3, 9-0), ranked fifth in the county.
