3 Senior Executives Leaving Apple

Apple Computer Inc. said three senior executives plan to leave the company after a reorganization left them without power. Satjiv Chahil, senior vice president of worldwide marketing; John Floisand, senior vice president of worldwide sales; and Fred Forsyth, senior vice president of the Power Mac division, will be leaving the Cupertino-based company, though dates of departure weren’t announced. Christopher Escher, executive vice president of corporate communications, is also leaving, effective immediately. Chairman Gilbert Amelio announced his second restructuring of the company last week in an effort to stem losses. Escher said he will be joining a public relations firm. The other executives could not be reached for comment.
