Toys R Us Inc. was denied access to internal Federal Trade Commission documents that the company said would help it defend itself against government antitrust charges. Paramus, N.J.-based Toys R Us sought the documents to fight FTC charges that it used its purchasing power to pressure big toy makers to stop selling popular toys to deep-discount stores such as Price/Costco Inc.’s Price Club warehouses. . . .
