ESimulation Sciences Inc.: The Brea provider of commercial simulation software and related services reported that net income for 1996 surged 93% to $2.7 million, or 32 cents a share, from $1.4 million, or 19 cents a share, the previous year. Revenue advanced 42% to $46.9 million from $33.1 million. For the fourth quarter, the company earned $1.1 million, or 11 cents a share, more than double the $407,000, or 6 cents a share, posted a year ago. Revenue gained 35% to $13 million from $9.6 million.
