3 Suspected of Selling Methamphetamine
Three Ventura County men have been arrested in Ojai on suspicion of selling methamphetamine, authorities said.
Investigators with the Ventura County sheriff’s narcotics unit arrested Robert Michael Edilson, 34, of Ventura, Eli Brian Rubin, 29, and Armando Aguilar Ponce, 21, both of Ojai, on Wednesday after a four-month investigation into suspected drug sales in the Ojai Valley.
Deputies say they witnessed the trio engaging in a drug transaction just before they were arrested.
Ponce was in possession of more than an ounce of suspected high-grade methamphetamine, deputies said, and an additional pound of the drug was seized at two of the men’s homes on Aliso Street and Mirror Lake Avenue.
