Students Seek to Be Workplace ‘Shadows’
Brea Olinda High School is seeking people who are willing to have students be their shadows during a workday.
Seniors must complete a half-day of job shadowing to graduate, said Jim McWilliam, career guide specialist. “We’re always looking for people in any profession who are willing to host a student,” he said.
Students have expressed interest in hundreds of occupations, including circus clown and opera singer, he said.
