CSUN Asian Council Moves to New Site
In a move to get Cal State Northridge students involved in community service work, the Asian & Pacific Islander Council of the San Fernando Valley has relocated near the CSUN campus.
The council, which is made up of a coalition of community organizations and social service providers, has moved its office to the Asian American Studies & Activities Center, 18356 Halsted St., at the edge of the campus, said Susan Ng, the council’s program coordinator.
Ng said she hopes the center’s new location will make it easier for CSUN students to become involved with the organization’s community service programs, which include leadership training for Asian youths and the annual Asian Pacific Family Health and Cultural Day.
The council’s new phone number is (818) 886-9495 and the new fax number is (818) 886-9497. The new mailing address is APIC-SFV, C/O Asian American Studies Department, Cal State Northridge, 18111 Nordhoff St., 91330-8251.
