High School Needs a Few Good Mentors
Ocean View High School is seeking adult mentors to emphasize to students the links between academic achievement, life choices and workplace success.
Each volunteer will be required to attend two hours of training a month and to devote four hours a month to a student. Ocean View will arrange many of the activities and provide a meeting place for mentors and students.
The high school is setting up the student-adult mentor program with the help of a grant in collaboration with the YMCA.
