I/O Magic to Buy Eiger

I/O Magic Corp., a manufacturer of multimedia computer products, said it has a tentative agreement to acquire Eiger Labs Inc. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Eiger, based in Sunnyvale, produces portable PC card multimedia and communications products. The combined companies will be based in Irvine, I/O Magic said.
