Hays Takes Post at Deluxe Color Printers

Susanne Hays has joined Deluxe Color Printers in Newport Beach in the newly created position of director of marketing. She was formerly customer service manager for Choice Lithographics in Santa Fe Springs.

* J. Daniel Hottowe has been named director for the CT and nuclear medicine business units of Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. in Tustin. He joined the company from Instrumentation Laboratory in Massachusetts, where he was director, multi-health systems.

* Raymond W. Cohen has been named president and chief executive of Cardiac Science Inc. He succeeds Prabodh Mathur, who has been acting president and chief executive since 1994. Mathur has joined Cytocare Inc. Cohen was president of Diagnostic Monitoring, a privately held company that markets diagnostic cardiovascular equipment.

* Kim Parkhurst has joined Kinder & Associates Inc. in Irvine in the newly created position of media relations manager. She was formerly account coordinator with Public Communications/West.

* Mia Lewicki has joined Glenn M. Gelman & Associates, an Irvine CPA firm, as a staff accountant. She has three years’ accounting experience with a construction management firm.

* T. Michael Henderson has joined InSight Health Services Corp., a Newport Beach provider of diagnostic imaging and information, treatment and related management services, as vice president of business development. Henderson was most recently with Toshiba America Medical, heading up the strategic account group. He has also held positions in finance, marketing and product management with LINC, EMI and Searle Radiographics.

* Julie Broderick has been appointed vice president and general manager of AMR Combs executive aviation services operations at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana. Broderick, who has been with the company 15 years, was most recently manager of the company’s Denver operations. AMR Combs is the executive aviation affiliate of American Airlines.

* Lesley L. Walls has been named president of the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, effective July 1. He succeeds Richard L. Hopping, who is stepping down after 24 years. Walls is currently the dean at the College of Optometry, Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore.

* Karon Hunter has joined ARV Assisted Living Inc. in Costa Mesa as director of marketing. She was previously regional director of operations and Pacific division director of marketing for Sundance Rehabilitation Corp.

* Elmer Pruim has been appointed president of the Santa Ana-based Arlon Adhesives & Films division of Bairnco. He had been acting president of Kasco, also a division of Bairnco. Before that, Pruim was controller for Bairnco.

* Joanne Carle-Accornero has been named director of business development for distance learning programs by Interstate Electronics Corp. in Anaheim. She joins the company from Ingram Micro, where she was manager of distance learning and business development.

* Bob Van Ness has been elected 1997 president of the Laguna Beach Visitors Bureau. He is director of sales at the Surf and Sand Hotel.
