Wiz Technology Loses $924,687 in Quarter

Wiz Technology Inc., a developer and distributor of computer software programs and displays, said it lost $924,687, or 10 cents a share, for the second quarter ended Jan. 31, contrasted with net income of $120,417, or 1 cent a share, for the second quarter a year ago. Revenue declined 39% to $962,436 from $1.6 million.

A net loss of $1.2 million, or 13 cents a share, was reported for the six-month period, contrasted with net income of $521,069, or 6 cents a share, for the first half a year earlier. Revenue was down 36% to $2.3 million from $3.6 million. The company reduced its full-time employees to 30 from 50 at the end of the previous fiscal year.
