Krause’s New Shares

Krause’s Furniture Inc. said Monday that its registration of 4.4 million shares of common stock has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The newly registered shares include those held by a group of investors who participated in a private placement of 10.7 million shares of the company on Aug. 26 and Sept. 10.

The newly registered shares are among the 19 million shares of company stock outstanding at the end of 1996, the company said.
