McKenzie Gets National Post at Consolidated

* Jim M. McKenzie has been appointed national account executive for Consolidated Freightways, a trucking company. He is based in Orange. McKenzie previously served as sales manager of the company’s Southern California division.

* Lee W. Melody, president of MotorVac Technologies Inc. in Santa Ana, has been named chief executive. In addition, John I. Leahy has joined the board of directors. Leahy has been president of Management and Marketing Associates, a management consulting firm, since 1986.

* Ryan Abbate has been named executive vice president of Forsythe Marcelli Johnson Advertising in Newport Beach. He was previously vice president, managing director of Pacific Communications.

* Mitch Simon has been appointed manager of sales and marketing for Rainbow Technologies Inc.’s Internet Security Group in Irvine. Simon was previously senior account manager of national accounts for Rainbow Technologies.
