IRIS Settles Suit Over Patent Infringement

International Remote Imaging Systems, a Chatsworth maker of medical testing equipment, said it has settled a patent infringement lawsuit it had brought against Intelligent Medical Imaging Inc.

As part of the settlement, Intelligent Medical Imaging will pay a 4% royalty to IRIS on some sales of white-blood-cell analyzers.
