Micro General Corp.: The Tustin manufacturer of automated equipment for shipping and mailing operations said it lost $1.2 million, or 61 cents a share, for 1996, compared with a net loss of $229,652, or 12 cents a share, for 1995. Revenue fell 45% to $2.2 million from $4 million. The company said revenue declined largely because the number of postal rate changes in 1996 dropped 50%. Micro General receives revenue from adjusting its clients’ equipment to account for rate changes. A net loss of $470,697, or 24 cents a share, was recorded for the fourth quarter, compared with a net loss of $322,232, or 17 cents a share, for the comparable 1995 period. Revenue was down 52% to $219,558 from $456,075.
