Police Find Man’s Body in Trash Bin
Police found the decomposing body of a man in a trash bin Tuesday afternoon, and they are investigating the circumstances of the death.
About 2:20 p.m., a passerby reported a strange odor in the parking lot of Sano Medical Center, in the 1400 block of South Main Street, and alerted authorities, who found the body, Police Sgt. John Aguilar said. Investigators do not know the man’s name nor how long the body had been in the trash bin, Aguilar said.
“We just don’t have very much at this point,” Aguilar said. “The coroner’s [office] took the body, and they will try to determine a cause of death.”
