FDA Gives Nod to New Urohealth Product

Urohealth Systems Inc. said Thursday that it has received Food and Drug Administration clearance to market its integrated endoscopic video system. The system is a portable unit for both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

The company expects to begin shipments in September.

Urohealth designs, manufactures and markets disease-specific urological, gynecological and general-surgery medical products.
