Nearly 50 Arrested in Pair of Melees
Nearly 50 people were arrested after two disturbances in the Ohio University town of Athens. One melee involved a brawl between fraternities, police said. The bigger confrontation involved about 1,000 people in the town center outside bars that cater to students, police Chief Richard Mayer said.
