Skye’s not the limit when it comes to Scotch. There are as many variations in taste, color and blends as there are producers in Scotland. Taste the differences at a dinner featuring Scotch on April 15 at Tam O’Shanter Inn. The five-course dinner by chef Ivan Harrison will be paired with Scotch selections--including a 17-year-old Littlemills, a 12-year-old Glenmorangie and a Glenfarclas that’s old enough to vote--by beverage writer Dan Berger. Reservations required. 6:30 p.m. Tam O’Shanter Inn, 2980 Los Feliz Blvd., Los Angeles. (213) 664-0228. $65.
