BTC Electronics Opens Thousand Oaks Sales Office

Electronics distributor BTC recently expanded its direct sales force by opening an office in Thousand Oaks.

According to Bob Barnett, president of the Raleigh, N.C.-based BTC, the addition of sales offices in Thousand Oaks and Apopka, Fla., will increase the distributor’s presence in key regional markets across the country.

“BTC will also be announcing several new lines in the coming months--our new sales offices are a reflection of our strategic plan to extend our services to additional industrial/commercial markets,” Barnett said.

Laura Kowalski was named manager of the Thousand Oaks office. Before joining BTC, she served 13 years with Time Electronics in corporate product management and inside sales for a variety of military accounts. Kowalski will be responsible for customers in the western United States.

Other BTC sales locations include North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

BTC specializes in commercial and military connectors, accessories and related products for the transportation, process control, broadcasting, medical, military and telecommunications markets.
