Advanced Logic Research Inc.: The Irvine company said net income for the second fiscal quarter gained 60% to $3.2 million, or 25 cents a share, from $2 million, or 17 cents a share, for the same period last year. Sales rose to $55.4 million from $55 million. First-half net income increased 45% to $6.4 million, or 50 cents a share, from $4.4 million, or 36 cents a share, for the first six months of the prior fiscal year. Revenue fell slightly to $111.8 million from $112.2 million.
