Wyle Electronics: The Irvine distributor of semiconductors and computer products said net income for the first quarter declined 29% to $7.8 million, or 61 cents a share, from $11 million, or 86 cents a share, a year ago. Sales were down 1% to $322.1 million from $326.5 million. The company said the results were affected by transitions in its semiconductor product lines and a change in sales mix.
