10 of Crew Missing as Ship Capsizes

Ten crew members were missing and feared dead when a South Korean ship carrying a highly flammable chemical and liquefied petroleum gas capsized off the southwestern coast, police said. They said one person, an engineer, had been rescued from the vessel, which was owned by a shipping company in the southern port of Pusan. All crew members were South Koreans, they said. Police said the ship capsized after hitting rocks and was partially submerged with only its bow visible.
