Judge Allows Alcohol Service at New Club

Share

In spite of strong opposition from his future neighbors, businessman Mark Woods has gotten permission to serve alcohol at a nightclub he plans to open.

Woods, who wants to open a nightclub in Cannery Village called Mark Wood’s Hide Out, was given permission by an administrative judge to serve alcohol at the location.

The club, which will occupy the former site of the jazz club Cafe Lido, may open in mid-May--if residents of Cannery Village don’t appeal the alcohol license.
