Microsemi Corp.: The Santa Ana supplier of power semiconductors and other electronics products posted earnings of $2.4 million, or 27 cents a share, for its fiscal second quarter ended March 30, a 33% increase over $1.8 million, or 22 cents a share, for last year’s second three-month period. Quarterly sales rose 4% to $40.7 million from $39.1 million. For the first six months, the company earned $4.3 million, or 49 cents a share, a 30% increase over $3.3 million, or 39 cents a share, earned in the same period last year. Sales grew 3% to $76.4 million for the six-month period from $74.4 million.
