Police Seek Ex-Student in Killing of CEO’s Son

NEW YORK — Police are investigating whether teacher Jonathan Levin, son of Time Warner Chairman Gerald Levin, was murdered by a former student.
They suspect that Levin, 31, was tortured with a steak knife until he revealed his ATM password, then was shot in the head. A murky bank videotape shows a man using the ATM card to withdraw $800 last Friday--the same night the teacher was probably killed, police said Thursday.
Detectives are searching for a potential suspect who had attended the tough Bronx high school where Levin was an English teacher.
