Computer executives--Irvine-based Graphix Zone, now called Ignite Inc., was profitable when executives Charles R. Cortright and Angela Aber resigned. A story Thursday incorrectly reported the company’s financial condition.

They resigned in November 1996 as the company was racking up a series of quarterly losses. Subsequently, Graphix Zone’s new management dropped most of the company’s products, changed the company’s name to Insight Inc. and focused on developing games derived from television game shows.

Before starting Graphix Zone, the husband-and-wife team held executive positions at AST Research Inc. in Fountain Valley and at a number of other major computer and computer products companies.
