Vigilante update--Since starting the season 5-2, the team has gone 6-12. The offense is averaging 2.5 runs over the last nine games, but left fielder Alan Burke is one of the few players who has remained effective. He is hitting a team-high .363 with six home runs and 27 runs batted in. Kirt Kishita is tied for the league lead in saves with five.

Gull update--The team took two of three during a recent trip to Mission Viejo and has won seven of its last 11. Shortstop Steve Dietz, the son of former major leaguer Dick Dietz, leads the league in hitting at .414 through the first 24 games. Catcher Mark Kingston is second in the league at .403.
