College Foundation Board Director Named
Stephen E. Dixon, an Orange County hospital executive with more than 28 years of health-care experience, has been appointed to the Cypress College Foundation’s board of directors.
The board, made up of 23 community leaders, is responsible for overseeing fund-raising efforts as well as other projects.
Dixon has been president and chief executive officer at La Palma Intercommunity Hospital since 1991 and has held the same position at Martin Luther King Hospital in Anaheim since 1996.
Both hospitals are affiliated with Uni-Health, a statewide health-care organization based in Burbank.
Dixon is a longtime member of the La Palma Kiwanis Club. He is a graduate of USC and holds a master’s degree in public administration.
The Cypress College Foundation, incorporated in 1972, is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization.
