SafeGuard Makes Sale

SafeGuard Health Enterprises Inc. said Tuesday it has completed the sale of its 32 general dental practices for $17.5 million.

The company announced during the fourth quarter last year that it would sell its general dental practices and keep its orthodontic business.

The health care marketing company also said it plans to focus on starting up its dental practice management unit, Imprimis.
