General Automation Inc.: The Irvine computer company said that profit for its third fiscal quarter declined 66% to $214,000, or 2 cents a share, from $631,000, or 8 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose 29% to $9.4 million from $7.3 million. Profit for the first three quarters fell to $484,000, or 5 cents a share, from $1.3 million, or 18 cents a share. Revenue advanced 53% to $29.2 million from $19.1 million. General Automation said net income was affected by consolidation and development costs.
