Coastline to Develop Online Student Center

Share

Coastline Community College will use an $80,000 state grant to design and start an online student services center.

The center should be able to provide applications, registration and educational planning; access to academic catalogs and schedules; video counseling sessions in real time; academic advisement; college orientation; and virtual campus tours.

Campus officials will target nontraditional Coastline students, such as working adults and advanced-placement high school students. Broadcasts and other information will be in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
