Three Manhattan Beach homes and one Hermosa Beach residence have been dressed up with poinsettias, decorated pine boughs and paintings and photographs from several South Bay artists as part of the Sandpipers annual Holiday Homes Tour.
The philanthropic group, which has raised more than $1 million for more than 70 South Bay charities over the last five years, began offering tours Friday, which will continue through Sunday. Last year the event raised $70,000 for such agencies as homeless shelters, child abuse prevention and an AIDS hospice.
Guided tours of all four homes run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The tour begins at 101 N. Dianthus St. in Manhattan Beach. Cost: $15.
