Some N. California Skiers Bank on Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo banking customers in Northern California can stand in an ATM line to avoid standing in the ski lift ticket line.

At 550 Wells Fargo Express ATMs in Northern California, skiers and snowboarders can buy discounted lift tickets and lesson package discounts for the Heavenly, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Sugar Bowl and Sierra-at-Tahoe ski resorts. Wells Fargo sold similar packages last year, but at only 50 automated teller machines.

“Both customers and non-customers overwhelmingly responded to the convenience of this product last year, which is why we’ve expanded our distribution and offer the new-lesson package vouchers,” said Marcia Donner, senior vice president of San Francisco-based Wells Fargo & Co.
