Georgetown’s Sheffey Pleads Guilty to Charges

Georgetown sophomore point guard Ed Sheffey pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor charges related to a traffic incident in Prince George County (Md.) this past summer. Sheffey pleaded guilty to one count of fleeing and eluding, one count of reckless driving and one count of speeding. Charges of possession of marijuana and resisting arrest were dropped. He was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and ordered to complete drug-treatment and driver-education programs.
