Memorial Menorah, Tree Lighting Set
A tree and menorah lighting ceremony in memory of loved ones who have died will be held this afternoon at 4 at Mountain Gate Plaza in Simi Valley.
Throughout the holiday season the public will be able to purchase an ornament in memory of a loved one who has passed away.
The ornaments will be placed on the memorial tree at the plaza, 1197 E. Los Angeles Ave.
After the holidays, the ornaments will be presented to the families.
Representatives of Simi Valley Mayor Greg Stratton will be on hand for the lighting ceremony and chamber music will fill the air.
Refreshments will be served.
The event is sponsored by Loving Heart Hospice Foundation.
