GIFTS FOR KIDS OF PRISONERS: Prison Fellowship Ministries will accept Angel Tree gift donations for children of prisoners through Dec. 22 from 2 to 8 p.m. at its office, 6435 Baird Ave., Reseda, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Reseda Baptist Church, 18644 Sherman Way. Sponsors choose a paper angel off a tree that reveals the gift a child wants and donates the unwrapped gift to Prison Fellowships on behalf of the incarcerated parent. Volunteers then distribute the parents’ gifts to the Valley children. The ministry already has collected nearly 3,300 gifts, but needs 200 more to meet its goal. Volunteers are also needed to deliver gifts. Prison Fellowship Ministries was founded in 1976 by Charles Colson, a former aide of President Richard Nixon who served a prison sentence for Watergate-related offenses. Information: (818) 708-1303.
