Wilson Tax Cuts
I was happy to read (Dec. 7) that Gov. Pete Wilson was able to deliver substantial tax cuts for his supporters. Big business and high-income earners received their reward for campaign contributions to such a progressive administration.
Of course our state spending on education remains in the bottom 10% of our 50 states. Just think what we could do with a couple billion more dollars to educate and train qualified people to keep California’s economy second to none.
