Assistant Clerk To Fill Top Job

Longtime Assistant City Clerk Theresa N. Gremling will become city clerk when Mary Lou Morey retires Saturday, the City Council recently decided.
Gremling has worked in the clerk’s office since 1978. “She’s the best person for the job based upon years of experience in the city,” City Manager Don Vestal said.
Morey, city clerk since 1975, announced her retirement in October, saying she plans to travel and pursue hobbies.
