A Virtual Monopoly on Hotel Development

Share

Garden Grove is beginning to look like the winner in a municipal game of Monopoly.

With three hotels already slated for Harbor Boulevard north of Chapman Avenue, and another three proposed for south of the thoroughfare, redevelopment is booming.

Additionally, groundbreaking was Saturday for a Candlewood Hotel on the northwest corner of Haster Street and Garden Grove Boulevard, and the City Council last week approved another business-style hotel for the northeast corner of Sungrove Street and Garden Grove Boulevard.

The newly approved hotel is expected to include 104 rooms and will be developed by ESA Management, Inc.
