ChromaVision, USC Test Cancer Product

ChromaVision Medical Systems Inc. is pushing ahead with clinical trials, too.
The San Juan Capistrano biomedical company has contracted with several USC doctors to test a product intended to detect minute quantities of cancer cells that have spread away from a patient’s primary tumor to other parts of the body. The company said its product promises to automate the process of assessing the number of dispersed cells in bone marrow.
