Deadline Set for Entries in Black Heritage Calendar

A Dec. 31 deadline has been set for groups that want their events listed in the city’s first official Black History Month calendar, organizers said Thursday.

The African American Heritage Calendar will list the February events, which organizers say will make up the city’s most ambitious black history showcase ever.
