Appeals Will Fail, McVeigh Predicts

Convicted Oklahoma City bomber Timothy J. McVeigh expects his appeals to fail and to spend the rest of his life on death row, he wrote in a letter to the Dallas Morning News. “Because of the intense public pressure and demand for my blood, I do not see an appeals court ruling in my favor,” he said in the letter postmarked Monday.
