Clear Skies Likely to Give Way to Storm

Northeast winds on Friday dried out clouds lingering from a thunderstorm the previous day, leaving Ventura County residents with a day of crystal-clear skies and temperatures in the 60s.
The National Weather Service predicts more of the same for today, with projected high temperatures of 68 in Oxnard, 65 in Ojai and 67 in Thousand Oaks. Northeast winds between 15 and 25 mph are expected.
However, another brief storm like the one that splashed the county on Thursday is expected to arrive Sunday, said Vladimir Ryshko, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Oxnard.
“There’s another quick-moving storm coming through,” Ryshko said.
The sky is expected to grow cloudy this afternoon. Temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s are projected for Sunday,
