City to Name Planners at Year’s Last Meeting
- Share via
Monday is the last regularly scheduled City Council meeting of the year, and officials plan to take care of several housekeeping items.
The chief order of business is making three appointments to the city’s Planning Commission. Planners can approve permits for new businesses and construction projects and advise the council on large projects.
A member of the council also will be appointed to serve on the Orange County Sanitation Districts Board of Directors.
In other business, the council will consider expanding a loan program that helps employees buy computers. Already available to full-time staff, the council will decide whether to offer the program to permanent part-timers.
The council meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 3191 Katella Ave.
Information: (562) 431-3538 or (714) 827-8670.
